Aria 16 days old
Well, hello there. This past Sunday was Father's Day. Kevin was so very excited to celebrate his 1st Father's Day with his beautiful little girl. He is the best daddy to her already. I am so lucky that my wonderful husband is also an amazing father.
While Kevin was excited to be a new Daddy, my Dad and Grandfather were equally excited to be a new Grandpa (Pops) and a first time Great-Grandfather. For Father's Day we decided to use the cuteness that is Miss Aria Rose for a Father's Day gift. We picked up some puffy paint and little white onsies and wrote on them "I <3 my Pops" and "I <3 my GGF". My poor little girl was not too happy about our intended photo shoot. We ended up having to take over 200 photos to get a handful of good ones. Though, I as the mommy, of course think she looks adorable in all of them :-)
Here are a few:
When I set her down she would immediately start wailing...
Look at that little face!
Resigned.
Mommy kisses help a little.
Sleepy time.
The next project that little Aria unwillingly participated in was the footprint and hand print molds. Ever since I was little, I enjoyed looking and cousins and friends baby footprints. They are always hung on the wall with the utmost care and those littlest fingers and toes look so precious. As Aria approached her 1 week birthday, I knew I wanted to capture the impressions ASAP.
I had to re-do the hands 5 times because little stinker kept curling her fingers under. But, I finally got a fairly decent one.

Aria Rose House
Our little angel joined our family on June 9th at 8:23am. She was 6 lbs and 13 oz, 19 3/4 in.
Perfect in every way. We couldn't be more blessed.
